AIR BURKINA TO RESUME DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

Burkina Faso airline, Air Burkina (2J) will on Friday 24 July 2020 resume domestic flights from the capital from Ouagadougou – Bobo Dioulasso – Ouagadougou.

Air Burkina released a statement announcing a schedule of the domestic operations. Flights will resume under new health protocols that include mandatory wearing of a mask, social distancing and some health checks.

According to the statement Air Burkina will operate the schedule as follows.

Friday 24JUL20 

  • Departure from Ouagadougou at 4.30 p.m.
  • Departure from Bobo-Dioulasso at 6:05 p.m.

Sunday 26JUL20

  • Departure from Ouagadougou at 3:00 p.m.
  • Departure from Bobo-Dioulasso at 4.35 p.m.

Tuesday 28JUL20

  • Departure from Ouagadougou at 8:30 am
  • Departure from Bobo-Dioulasso at 10:05 am

Thursday 30JUL20

  • Departure from Ouagadougou at 4.30 p.m.
  • Departure from Bobo-Dioulasso at 6:05 p.m.

During the lockdown period Air Burkina has been operating repatriation flights from Ouagadougou to Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Casablanca, Morocco. Another flight is scheduled to Niamey, Niger on 25 July 2020.

Air Burkina operates 2 Embraer E170 across its 9 destinations across 8 countries in the West and Central African region, from its Ouagadougou airport base. Air Burkina is a member of the Celestair Group alliance of airlines.
