Fastjet Zimbabwe have announced that the airline is now finalizing on the modalities of domestic flights resumption.
Zimbabwe announced the resumption of domestic flights from 10 September and international flights from 01 October 2020.
“We are delighted with the latest news released by the Government of Zimbabwe on 08 September 2020 announcing the official resumption of domestic and international air transportation, approved with prescribed travel safety conditions,” said the airline.
A Fastjet official further stated, “Today we initiated robust discussions and are actively engaged with key stakeholders as we finalise plans for the recommencement of domestic flights between Harare & Bulawayo and Harare & Victoria Falls, following yesterday’s announcement by the Ministry of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting.”
Recently Fastjet extended its flexible booking change policy to 15 March 2020. The airline is committed to the well-being of its customers and the facilitation of local travel in Zimbabwe, in line with the domestic tourism campaign and initiative launched in July 2020.
Fastjet will announce the dates of flights resumption in the coming days via its website and social media platforms.
“The planned domestic recommencement date and flying programme will be shared during this week on our website and social media pages,” the airline said.
