Fastjet Zimbabwe has announced the schedule for the regional flights commencing 01 October 2020.
The airline said: “Fastjet Zimbabwe is pleased to confirm that we shall resume international flights between Harare and Johannesburg effective Thursday, 01 October 2020, with introductory promotional fares from USD $115.00 one way, including taxes and baggage.”
“On resuming services, we will be operating flights between Harare and Johannesburg on a reduced frequency, with double daily return flights Tuesday through to Friday, and a daily return flight on Saturday and Sunday. We will be resuming flights between Bulawayo and Johannesburg from Monday, 30 November 2020, with daily return flights except on a Saturday.”
Authorities in both Zimbabwe and South Africa have put measures on the ground for the safe resumption of international flights. Passengers on the route will be required to present a negative test certificate for PCR taken with 48 hours for Zimbabwe and 72 hours for South Africa.
On 21 September the value-based airline resumed domestic services in Zimbabwe, from Harare to Bulawayo on a domestic fare of U$D100.00 one way across all its domestic network.
“Fastjet Zimbabwe is pleased to confirm domestic flights between Harare and Bulawayo resumed today, 21 September 2020 and are set to operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Flights between Harare and Victoria Falls will recommence Thursday, 01 October operating every Thursday and Sunday.”
