Air Seychelles has announced the resumption limited passenger services to Johannesburg and Mauritius from the first of November.
The island nation carrier will introduce weekly service to Johannesburg and Mauritius. The phased-up approach will see the flights being increased from weekly to twice weekly from the first of December.
Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles Remco Althuis said: “As we start to re-establish our network with the gradual re-opening of borders, to ensure that we operate safely we will continue to implement all the required measures at each destination where we operate, by working closely with all stakeholders to safeguard the health of our guests and employees.”
The government of Seychelles has introduced health measures aimed at the reducing the spread of the coronavirus. Passengers coming into Seychelles are mandated to ensure that they adhere to these measures.
“Travellers are advised to remain updated with the latest information regarding the procedure to be followed prior to and upon arrival at their country of destination,” Althuis added.
Air Seychelles said that all flights will be subjected to the approval of the government including regulatory approval as well as that of the health authorities at each destination.
