Zimbabwean value-based-airline fastjet has announced the resumption of flights between, Bulawayo and Johannesburg.
Starting 14 October 2020 Fastjet will connect Zimbabwe’s second largest city Bulawayo to Johannesburg thrice weekly on Wednesday, Friday & Sunday. Flights will be departing from Johannesburg OR Tambo International at 16:15 arriving at Bulawayo JM Nkomo International at 17:35. The return flight will depart Bulawayo at 18:10 arriving at OR Tambo International Airport at 1930.
An airline spokesperson stated, “We are pleased to be resuming flights on this route, and we are looking forward to welcoming our customers on board with one-way offers from as low as USD100.00 per person including all taxes and free baggage allowance.”
Since the lifting of travel restrictions, Fastjet now operates both domestic flights from its hub in Harare to Bulawayo and Victoria Falls and regional flights from Harare to Johannesburg. This new route will join the airline’s growing network.
